Moxie Fab World - Tuesday Trigger Frame by Frame

Hello Friends -
I hope you have had a great week!  It has been a busy one here!

I liked the Moxie Fab World Tuesday Trigger - Frame by Frame.  Funny thing.  I painted this frame for their mint green challenge several weeks ago.  But I got busy and missed making a card in time to enter.  So this frame has been sitting on my desk needing to be used.  {Back story - I did not have mint green paint so I made it by mixing a bright green and sky blue acrylic.  And surprisingly it turned out a perfect color!  And then I didn't make the card.  Probably spent too much time admiring the color!  LOL!}

Well, anyways . . . here is what I made.  I knew it could have a lot of dimension since it was going in a bubble envelope.  It is a 4.25" x 4.25" card.  Have a Happy Day!  Mary -

Now on to the fun stuff!

When I signed up for this blog hop I definitely was leaving my comfort zone.  Acckkk!!  A scrapbook page.  I knew I had photos from apple picking with my children and nephew.  But I have this real commitment issue with photos stuck onto paper.  Too many decisions.  Too many choices.  What is the right size?  So I started small 6" x 6"- less space is good for me.  And after doing one page, I have a goal to finish the whole (yes, 6 pages - but 12 sides!) book.  I know it is fairly primitive, with layers of paper and one photo.  But this is a major step for me.  Thank you for the encouragement - I can hear it out there.

Feeling Blue . . .

Hello Friends -
I hope you are having a great day!  I am!  Found some great sales in the stores (doing a bit of Christmas shopping).

No, I am not sad.  I just decided to use blues today.  I do not know why but I usually am more of an earthy browns and greens kind of girl.  So trying something different!

I used stamps from my new stamp line Iron Gate Stamps the Weathervane Stamp Set.  The tickets are cut from a piece of the Authentique paper.

Happy Day to you!

A New Stamp Company

Hello Friends -
Today is the day!  I have talked for years of wanting to create a stamp line and sell it online.

Welcome to Iron Gate Stamps!

I hope you enjoy what we have created for you!  There will be a new clear stamp set and coordinating background released the first week of the month.  And as we get going look for a changing variety of paper, embellishments and kits.  And if there is something you are wishing for - send me an e-mail at mary@irongatestamps.com.  We have pages of ideas and stamp sets that we are working on.

For our Grand Opening there are two stamp sets and two backgrounds - just for fun!  You can view the full release for November here:  Iron Gate Stamps

You can find many more samples over the next few weeks on my blog.

And my great friend Tammy {The Purple Muse} has been posting samples on her blog - http://thepurplemuse.blogspot.com/ over the last week.

Thank you for stopping by!

Have a Happy Day -
